After Daylight All Set To release Album 'The New Dawn'
After 10 years of playing in the band The Death Notes, guitarist Martin Bradley decided that in 2018 that he would like to pursue a different direction and decided to start a new project under the name After Daylight. The main focus for this project is to produce multi layered instrumental songs. Martin has been greatly influenced by other instrumental bands such as Mogwai, Mono, and Russian Circles over the last few years and felt it was time to move towards this musical direction.
Martin has recorded an 11 track album, ‘The New Dawn’, which he plans to release as his debut album on 1st Feb 2019. The first song to be released is ‘Monolith’. Martin has a very strong belief in DIY and independent record labels, which is why he has self-released this album himself.
Influences: Mogwai, Mono, Interpol, Slowdive, Ride, Loop, Echo and the Bunnymen, Russian Circles, My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division and Sonic Youth.
