AL MOSES release new bold single 'He Truly is the Son of God'
"Just Brilliant"- Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 1 "One of the songs of the year… Massive irrepressible tune bomb" - Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales on 29/03/20 "The absolute tenacious energy… It fucking slams" - Tom Rees, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard
The angsty rock-n-rollers from South Wales, AL MOSES release their bold new single He Truly is the Son of God, out 1st April 2020 via Big Indie Records and produced by Tom Rees, singer of Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard.
A whimsical punk rock anthem, He Truly Is The Son of God, is about a generation who have watched the last rock stars rot away, left worshipping the grassroots heroes who play local venues every weekend.
“The song was written when we were 18 and having the time of our lives, getting pissed at gigs in Cardiff. It acts as a reminder of the importance of our small and beloved music venues, especially those on Womanby Street where we grew up watching bands in Wales.” - Al Moses
AL MOSES were formed in 2015 by co-frontmen Jack Vill and Daf Thomas, at some point between a raucous party and the next-day’s hangover. After discovering a shared appreciation for The Jesus and Mary Chain, the band followed suit with the religious theme, and adopted their name in admiration. After which, Raychi Bryant joined on drums along with Jarvis Morgan from Pretty Vicious. The group pride themselves on their raw sound - no pedals, just a fascination with songwriting and poetry.
AL MOSES have supported the likes of The Sherlocks, and have received praise from Huw Stephens - BBC Radio 1, John Kennedy - Radio X, Adam Walton - BBC Introducing, Janice Long - BBC Radio Wales, as well as being featured on Spotify’s Hot New Bands. AL MOSES have been announced as one of BBC Wales Horizons Launchpad artists for 2020.
