How and where did you get together?
David & Matt have been collaborating in various projects since they were teenagers
What are the band's main influences?
Surprise Chef, L'eclair, Moses Boyd, Khruangbin, Yin Yin
Have you played any notable gigs, festivals or other events? Likewise radio or TV appearances?
The CSK debut EP gained various blog coverage earlier this year including Mystic Sons. David's other project 'Slowski' played a sold out show in London just before the lockdown restrictions.
Are there any other interesting or amusing happenings – no matter how small – that the band have been involved with that would be of interest to those who like your music?
The track includes background vocals from Matt who has been secretly developing in vocal talents. This came as an unexpected addition to the project.

Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?
The single was recorded between David and Matt's home studios in Bristol, UK.
Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?
To make instrumental guitar music with a focus on tonality and feel.
Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about? If you are releasing an album then either describe the thinking behind the project or choose a couple of lead tracks to focus on.
Sojourn attempts to capture a feeling of change and development. The song takes many turns and dynamics and looks to create a soundtrack to a strange time in history.
Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP? As above, list whatever might be of relevance.
This song was largely written during lockdown and in isolation. The track with developed and recorded with David & Matt working in separate locations bringing a new dynamic to the process.

CSK has been mastering the art of lo-fi instrumental music for many years. This latest offering looks to bring in all manor of instrumentation creating a free and rich bed of sounds.
