An Interview with 'There Are Storms'

Who are the band members and what do they play?

Table for one, Kevin Wilkins is the vocalist and lyricist for the track. Solo Artist.

What are the band's main influences?

80's synth pop and new wave as well as 90's hip hop

Have you played any notable gigs, festivals or other events?

Likewise radio or TV appearances? No, still clawing my way to the top

Are there any other interesting or amusing happenings – no matter how small – that the band have been involved with that would be of interest to those who like your music?

I filled out a questionnaire to have a bio professionally written about me. After answering the questions honestly, I read them backto myself and had a moment of self-reflection. Unfortunately, I realized I am probably an asshole.

Do you have any favourable quotes from previous reviews of the band that you'd be happy to share?

"This guy reminds me of David Bowie." I was proud of that one.

Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?

In my home studio, Wilmington, Delaware.

Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?

Masculine and cocky

Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about? If you are releasing an album then either describe the thinking behind the project or choose a couple of lead tracks to focus on.

I am a fan of film, both past and present. This song is a modern update of the opening song from "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." Its not a "woke" song

Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP?

As above, list whatever might be of relevance. Lyrics are funny enough

Please provide a one or two-line personal quote that can be attributed to a band member, about either the band themselves or the release. Obviously the more eye-catching this is the better.

"I'm better than everyone at everything, know everything about everything, and I'm not going to apologize for any of it."
