After a big 2019, which saw the band play the prestigious festival Hit The North, Newcastle’s Alternative-Rock quintet Parallax Skies are primed to further build on this momentum, releasing their first single of 2020 titled “By The Time”.

“[By The Time] is about self-realisation; specifically of having wasted time by concentrating on all the wrong things” singer/guitarist Andy explains. “Consequently, unless something changes, you’ll miss your chance – John Lennon summed it up: life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans”.

This mellow inspiration for the single is a stark contrast to their live shows, which exhibits astonishing levels of energy from all members of the band, making them a force of nature at gigs.
