Freshly returning from the first half of their tour, Plastic Glass, release their new single “Let Me Know”, maintaining their current upward trajectory whilst also consolidating their reputation as a live force of nature. Recent shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle and Sunderland (supporting The Pale White at a sold-out, 350-cap gig) have cemented the Indie-Rock quartet’s status as one of the North East’s most-promising bands. Gaining support from the likes of This Feeling and Scruff Of The Neck has further added to their credibility.
Talking specifically about “Let me Know” Ben Richardson (bass) explains: “The song was written on-the-spot during a rehearsal and naturally developed into what you hear on the record”. Expanding further: “Lyrically, the song deals with the theme of frustration. Specifically, when people send out mixed signals and don’t commit to plans; being unreliable and effectively causing tension”.
