Brighton’s Dog of Man release interactive album and single

Interactive Album – ‘Dogmatic Manual’

The album is dead, so they say. Whatever, we’ve decided to release our music over the next few weeks in an interactive format, one song at a time. Listeners will be able to affect the flow of the album, determine the definitive track listing and unlock extra videos along the way. The first instalment will arrive on Wednesday 3rd July. Each subsequent Wednesday a new video will land featuring a poll allowing the public to influence the following release.

Some lucky fans have already heard the album in full. This week we released a reaction video which was strangely full of grimaces and howls. Watch it below

Single – ‘Wedding Night’

To kick off proceedings we’re also putting out a sneak single from the album called ‘Wedding Night’. This isn’t the official title, but we’ve had to change it here to stop this email being swallowed by your spam folder. Incidentally, the chorus was originally inspired by a Mitchell & Webb sketch (make of that what you will). The track is available below

Band Bio

Dog of Man emerged, blinking, from a basement in Brighton with a demented collection of songs bursting with wild riffs, wry humour and improbable choruses. What started as a cathartic noise jam morphed into the weirdest rock music you’ll ever dance to. Dog of Man have brought their turbulent live show to London raves, squatted Amsterdam dockyards and beach parties in Croatia. This year the band hosted an exhibition of their own art work, played dozens of shows and headlined a European tour. Their debut album ‘Dogmatic Manual’ will be released – and played – in full at the launch party in Brighton on August 16th.
