Graffiti Vibe Introduces 'Bitter Trick'
Bitter Trick are an electronic indie-pop duo from the UK.
Bitter Trick is a table for one at the last restaurant standing. Bitter Trick will have the shrimp. In a different life, Katherine and Marcus played a string of shows in Leeds, Manchester and London, sharing stages with the likes of Stealing Sheep and Gus from Alt-J. They dream of one day returning to the stage and will continue to release songs in the hope that the apocalypse will eventually blow over.
Hannah Fletcher (BBC Introducing): “I absolutely love that track, there’s something very addictive about it.”
Joshua R F Murphy (Local Music Roundup): “A fresh and exciting take on electronic pop”
Say No is the second of 3 singles being released in the next few months before the release of our new EP ‘Climb’ (out in March 2021).
Say No is a song about being proactive with the choices that you make for yourself and others around you. We are presented with choices every day - when you see something that you know is wrong, do you take action, or do you stand by and simply watch it unfold? Do you allow yourself to be trapped by the expectations of others, or do you break free and do what’s right?
The Say No music video explores the perspective of one man watching things happen in the world around him. We have combined 2D animation and real footage to portray the disconnect that many experience between their personal situation and the wider reality of the world we live in. The video was created by Bitter Trick.
Say No is due to release on 8th January 2021.
