John Dhali releases charity single Thought Train
John Dhali hails from the North West of England, but is currently somewhere in Cheshire on his once London-bound narrowboat. The change in journey is down to the change in all of our circumstances, and the artist has a new musical offering which carries a message for all those in isolation. The track, titled Thought Train, is all about staying connected in these darkened times.
Thought Train is a glowing release penned and performed by John Dhali, and further warmed by the vocals of Nottingham hailing artist Tori Sheard and Manchester’s Danny Addison. Naive melodies and effortlessly simple lyrics ring with the much needed comfort of nostalgia. The song hits the zeitgeist of what we are all going through at the moment, in a way that you can’t help but be moved and uplifted by.
The release is an all-inspiring passage of hope released in aid of The Shiva Trust based in Lancashire. The charity supports those struggling with mental health issues, but are also doing some other vital work which includes delivering food parcels to the communities vulnerable, as well as making PPE for care homes in the area. Their message of ‘Sensitive Minds Think Differently’ strikes a chord, and they’re a dedicated team of experienced individuals who are committed in their delivery of mental health services - more information via their website. Discussing the release, John explains:
“There's been a bit of magic in this project. Everyone involved from recording to producing to artwork and even PR have just done it for the love. It's a song with a pretty straightforward message for lockdown - just about staying connected and being there for each other. I hope it puts out some good feels and more so I hope it raises awareness and support for the Shiva Trust Charity who are some of the many heroes that need help to keep helping.”
