Kintsukuroi is the new single by Jared Celosse
Jared Celosse is a young singer-songwriter based in Glasgow with roots in England, Holland and the Czech Republic. He has previously released two home-recorded EPs on Olive Grove Records, but this new single finds him stretching into new territory.
In 2019 Jared was named the winner of the Stewart Cruickshank Bursary, a hotly contested award for a songwriter yet to record in a professional studio, voted for by leading music industry figures. As part of the award Jared got to record with Paul Savage (the former Delgado who's produced everyone from Mogwai to Deacon Blue) at the famous Chem19 Studio. Also on board were musicians Louis Abbott (Admiral Fallow), Graeme Smillie (Emma Pollock, A Mote of Dust etc) and Pete Harvey (Modern Studies, King Creosote etc).
Kintsukuroi is the 3rd and final release from this session. It was first unveiled earlier this month in session on Vic Galloway's BBC Radio Scotland programme.
A fiercely intelligent artist, Jared's music synthesises his passions for pop, classical music and philosophy.
