Lonnie Storey released ‘Silver and Glass’Out 3rd May 2019
South East London Indie/Bedroom Pop artist Lonnie Storey ha s been writing music and wierdo poetry since he was ten years old. Storey’s second release is a timeless and breezy yet energised, playful track taking influence from the likes of Ariel Pink and Mac DeMarco.
Following on from Lonnie’s first release, ‘Mak e it Slow’, ‘Silver and Glass’ continues in a theme of sun riddled pessimism glossing over peripheral anxiety and regret with cheerful, danceable rhythm and energy.
On ‘Silver and Glass’ Lonnie shares: ‘Silver and Glass is all about becoming a hot vapid mess, being so obsessed with image and presentation, hoping it will cover the cracks in a fragile, unhinged personality, who se self esteem leaked out of them overnight.
