MORK PREMIERE NEW TRACK & VIDEO - “I FLAMMENS FAVN”

TAKEN FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM DET SVARTE JUV

RELEASED 19TH APRIL ON PEACEVILLE RECORDS

Band confirm new live shows incl. North America

The black flame is raging, rising high and vast this day. It is the release of the second single from Det Svarte Juv. It’s time to let “I Flammens Favn” embrace your soul.

Mork’s Thomas Eriksen introduces their new song “This scorching piece is, as the title suggest, a rough translation of “In The Embrace Of The Flame”. It has to be one of, or even, the most aggressive track from our new album. The band is run as a one-man project creatively, but the whole band decided on making a video for this song. We agreed that it wouldn’t have a narrative but, instead, showcase each band member in action individually. I think this really helped to gain the intimate but intense feel we envisaged.”

This video has just been added to Graffiti Vibe TV5

The video was shot in Vannvogna Kulturhus in Halden, Norway by John Fredrik Heramb and Gray Gull Productions (http://graygull.no).

Det Svarte Juv follows on from Mork’s 2017 debut for Peaceville Records, Eremittens Dal, with a continuation of dark, spell-binding, yet ever evolving black metal - cold, atmospheric, raw and haunting and marks a new highpoint for the band, taking the listener through a journey with ten unhallowed soundscapes.

Det Svarte Juv will be released on CD, LP and digitally (digital pre-orders receive an instant download of “På Tvers Av Tidene and ” I Flammens Favn”) and is available to PRE-ORDER NOW

Mork have confirmed live shows in support of Det Svarte Juv, including their first shows in North America – Psycho Las Vegas Festival plus two shows with Rotting Christ in August.

“There’s other stuff going down, in the Mork camp. We were recently contacted by the Psycho Las Vegas Festival, which resulted in the booking of Mork’s very first U.S shows. We will bring our Norwegian black plague to Las Vegas, San Diego and Los Angeles, this August. Not to be too overly cheery, as were evil black metallers, but we are really looking forward to seeing this dream come true. The fact that my music takes our band around the world is nothing short of amazing. We’ve been to many places and burned through our sets, met the supporters, and we’ll continue onwards. See you out there.  Keep the black flame burning“  Thomas Eriksen
