New pop sounds for aliens by The Great Dictators

’Creep For Life’ is the brand new single by Copenhagen-based indie rock trio.

The song presents a new electronic / indie electro sound from the Danish purveyors of melancholy in the shape of spacey synthesizers and distorted samples.

A few inspirations for the single are The Psychedelic Furs, Kraftwerk and one particular film composer. Songwriter Dragut Lugalzagosi croons out personal experiences and explains further.

“This song is our humble tribute to the great Jóhann Jóhannson. His soundcapes are always a big inspiration and also during the recording of ‘Creep For Life’. The lyrics tell a tale of a dysfunctional family where love and trust are illusions trying to stab you in the back. Some might say that family is a divine blessing. It can also be a hellish curse for life and we shouldn't be afraid to talk about it. The song finishes with a noisy blast resembling a much needed exorcism, so maybe it’s a happy ending.”

New album ‘One Eye Opener’ is out April 17th via Celebration Records. It will be their first album in over 3 years since ‘Women’ in 2016.
