On the 1th of September “The Rapports” release their second single, “Problems”. Courtesy of French label ‘NOA Music’ “Rapports” have recently been compared to a blend of The Walkmen, Strokes and Kings of Leon.

The band were formed 2016 during songwriter and singer Thomas Skilton’s days at art school studying Sculpture. They have been working the Brighton and London scene headlining most venues in their home city of Brighton, counting performances at The Great Escape Festival and supporting “Cast” to a sold out audience at Komedia as highlights. Skilton also runs “Keeping Schtum” a cult underground garage night, created to support the local unsigned scene.

The next year looks busy for the “Rapports”. They are due to release their Debut Album “Taking Off” both physically and online. Recorded and Mixed at Normandy’s “4A Sound Factory” by Island Records legend recording engineer Andy Leyden (John Martyn, Bob Marley, Buzzcocks, U2) and Sie Medway-Smith (Depeche Mode, Rita Ora, Bjork, Massive Attack).

"The Rapports recall the shambolic rock and roll charm of The Libertines, the confidence of Kasabian and the unassuming, real life story telling skill of Arctic Monkeys." T Hays BMG UK
