Northern songsmiths’ TAMSYN release new single, “Forever is Now” March 1st
TAMSYN are carving out their own path in UK’s Pop Rock scene one tune at a time.
Fresh from a headline show in Athens, support from BBC Introducing and with extensive touring on the horizon, TAMSYN have announced new single “Forever is Now” will be released March 1st.
Developing a cult fanbase by seamlessly mixing influences old and new, the Manchester lads craft a sound akin to The Smiths and the Cure, with contemporary artists such as Foals and Arctic Monkeys. Lyrically, the themes are delicately woven into their sound. Influenced by life experiences, literature, poetry, art and for this track, the works of Emily Dickinson who provided the title; TAMSYN have crafted their own brand of indie rock ready for the mainstream.
During their short time as a band, TAMSYN have played legendary venues such as Leeds Academy and Manchester 02 Ritz, had a critically acclaimed Debut EP, received over 80,000 views on their previous video and are set to play live dates across the UK & Europe this year.
Armed with euphoric anthem “Forever is Now” TAMSYN are ready to take on the world.
The single will be out worldwide on 1st March and live dates will be announced soon.
What the band has to say:
“Superficially the song feels like a party anthem. The title ‘Forever Is Now’
is a youthful declaration of carefree abandon, but is also about living in the moment and making the most of the present time. We filmed the video out in Athens while on tour and in a strange way, it was the perfect place to film the video as the beauty of the city combined with its dirtier side and ruins reflect the message of the song nicely.”
