Pia Fraus touring Europe this week
On the heels of their acclaimed 2017 album Field Ceremony, Estonian dreampop veterans Pia Fraus are set to play shoegaze festival "Madrid es Ruido" next Friday, paving the way for a string of shows in Great Britain and Ireland. During the tour, the band will share the stage with shoegaze extraordinaires Air Formation, electronic music legend Ulrich Schnauss and Glaswegian psych poppers Spinning Coin.

Pia Fraus started in 1998 in Tallinn, Estonia when six art school students (Rein Fuks, Reijo Tagapere, Tõnis Kenkmaa, Joosep Volk, Kristel Loide and Kärt Ojavee) came together.
They released five studio albums: Wonder What It's Like (2001/Pia Fraus), In Solarium (2002/Clairecords, Vinyl Junkie), Nature Heart Software (2006/Seksound, Vinyl Junkie), After Summer (2008/Seksound, Clairecords, Vinyl Junkie, Universal Records), Field Ceremony 2017/ Seksound, Shelflife, Vinyl Junkie), plus a handful of EPs and singles.
Their latest effort "Field Ceremony" is a triumphant return for the band, bringing back their signature dreampop sounds alongside fresh takes on pop structures.
