Portsmouth Pop Rockers The Collision releasd new single, “Ghosts” on 1st February
Since 2016 this energetic quintet have been belting out the anthems and growing a cult following around the UK.
Following sell out shows at The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth and The Joiners in Southampton as well as festival appearances across the nation, The Collision continue to build their momentum with new track “Ghosts.”
Originally frontman Lewis Smith’s backing band after he turned to music following a life-threatening brain infection, the groups chemistry and writing prowess resulted in the fully formed indie pop powerhouse we have today.
As nominees for Portsmouth News' Guide Award for Best Band and fresh off a 14 date UK Tour, “Ghosts” sees the band blend anthemic choruses with feel good melody and flawless production. Lyrically exploring the dark, helplessness of witnessing a battle with mental health, The Collision have crafted an uplifting earworm for the masses.
The single will be out worldwide on 1st February and live dates are set to be announced soon for May 2019 along with their new EP.

What the band has to say:
“The main themes are inner conflict, helplessness towards someone you feel really close to and still trying to push on and make the best of a situation that feels impossible to pursue.”
