“Indie Pop that’s sure to put a smile on your face” - Sunday Mirror

“This is glorious indie” – BBC Introducing

“The tunes speak for themselves” - IndieCentralMusic

Indie-pop, London based band RAMES are set to release second single She’s Gold. Their youthful and catchy style has earnt comparisons to bands like The Cure and The Night Cafe. The song will be available on all major streaming platforms from April 3rd, 2020.

This latest track, produced by Gavin Martin (Jaws, The Twang, The Blinders) at Magic Garden Studios, depicts the theme of a hopeful love story and adolescent wishful thinking. Driven by melodic, jangly guitar based choruses and with clear influence from 80’s and 90’s British indie; the song draws comparisons to The Stone Roses but with a synth-heavy, modern twist.

The release follows debut track Easy For You, which was picked up by BBC Introducing: Three Counties and credited as Sunday Mirror’s Single of the week amongst other accolades.

Having only formed last year; Alan, Oli, Joe and Fin of RAMES have already had a slot at Wilkestock festival with artists such as Slaves and The Snuts. They have also supported the likes of The Manatees, Deco and Flowvers, the latter of which in Southampton, on their UK tours. Positive feedback and growing crowds resulted in them playing their first headline show in February 2020 to a three figure crowd at The Grace in London.

With a growing fan base, a second single on the way and many more shows and festivals to come, you get the feeling this is only the start for the four-piece band.
