Redolent Release Single 'Perspicuity'

Perspicuity, released on 17/10/20, is the second of ten songs to be released by Redolent in a song-a-month campaign that will run until mid 2021.

A mix of reserved groove and upbeat euphoria, the song draws influence from the synths and soundscapes of Beach House and the guitars and

Redolent is an adjective that perfectly describes the creative output of the band: redolent of eclectic musical influence and the sights, sounds, and experiences of modern urban life. Flitting between the lines of style and mood: aggressive, electronic, melancholy, orchestral

As well as local gigging, Redolent have played at UK festivals including: T in the park, Belladrum, and Liverpool Sound City. Studio-centric, the band have unrestricted access to Leith's renowned Post Electric Studio (run by Rod Jones of IDLEWILD), and have spent years perfecting their writing and recording process under the guidance of band member and in-house recording engineer Danny Herbert.

Clash Magazine described Redolent's 2018 release “Dantercepies” as “Simply unstoppable.” The Skinny described their most recent release “I Thought They Were Just Fireworks” as “Powerful” and being “Bursting at the seams with a manic falsetto that brings to mind the likes of Thom Yorke”.

Never contrived and always redolent of something to someone. Future cult favourites. Jump on now as they begin releasing a backlog of odd and honest music.
