Sandtimer revisit the past in 'Different Seas'
Indie folk group Sandtimer have spent much of lockdown finalising their second album, of which 'Different Seas' is the first single. The track is a reworking of one of their earliest songs which trades in the country-influenced upbeat shuffle of the original for a more sombre, introspective take.
"At a time where we're all looking back on the past from a very different vantage point, you can discover an entirely new meaning in a song just by playing it a bit differently,' singer Simon Thomas said of the track.
Sandtimer will follow up 'Different Seas' with a series of new singles and an album release later this year.
