The first step to Eden: Curimus releases the first single from their upcoming third album
Finnish death / thrash group Curimus releases their anticipated third full-lenght album "Garden of Eden" October 30th 2020. The band has released the first single "Eradication Manifest", accompanied by a music video.
Director of the music video, the drummer of the band, Jari Nieminen gives a little background information: "We're releasing a bunch of videos during the fall, each by a different director / crew. Some of them are going to be on the cinematic side, so we wanted to get the ball rolling with some good ol´ pure chaos. Eradication Manifest is a two minute outburst of rage, both musically and visually. This one doesn't slack off a bit.
Garden of Eden is a follow-up for albums Realization (2012) and Artificial Revolution (2014). The album was recorded and mixed by the bass player of the band, Juho Manninen: "New material is faster and darker, all wrapped up in an uncompromising soundscape. The themes of the songs revolve around human selfishness, fecklessness and injustice in all its forms. At the end this world is the Garden of Eden, where no one is happy."
The singer of the legendary NWOBHM-band Hell, David Bower, gives Garden of Eden an international touch. His unique voice will be heard on the song "72".
