The Dolphin Show Release Switcharoo

Over the last year, The Dolphin Show have been working hard on creating an EP that reflects their heavy live sound and unpredictable song-writing..

‘Switcharoo’ is the second single to be released from The Dolphin Show’s upcoming EP ‘Thick Black Brain Blood’ - out on the 23rd of September.

This boppy, riff-driven, instrumental track mimics an 80’s cartoon, action-hero theme song, with hints of early Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Primus.

The Dolphin Show feel that this track is more of an insight into their songwriting than any of the other tracks on the EP.

This song came about whilst jamming when Will (guitar) and Matt (bass) swapped instruments - hence the name. "We added it to our set to act as a fun intermission song. We had no actual intention of recording it when we wrote it”

This music video captures a Dolphin Show gig in April 2018. It was the opening night for live music at the newly established, Park House in Mona Vale and the crowd were keen to have live music back on in the northern end of Sydney
