The latest release from Sam Edwards in run up to EP '24/7' release
West Wales singer Sam Edwards returns with his new EP ‘24/7’ set to be released on May 29th across all streaming platforms. All the tracks in the EP were written and recorded by Sam himself during quarantine at his home in Cwrt-newydd.
Sam became his journey through music when he was 8 years old, attending guitar lessons although music was already in his blood. Sam was born to slap-bass player Colin ‘Eddie’ Edwards who sadly Sam lost at a young age as well as his mother. Through his love of Enimen at a young age, Sam began rapping which led him to learning to sing when he was 15/16 after being influenced by Ed Sheeran. Sam sees music as a way of dealing with the loss of his parents and his anxiety.
After his first album ‘Flight’ being released in 2017, Sam has released 3 albums and 2 EP’s as well as singles. One of his most recent singles ‘Me, Myself and I’ received over 66,000 and he has achieved over 3,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
The new EP ‘24/7’ is a collection of songs that have been written and produced during the quarantine of 2020 to set himself in the right direction for his musical career as well as to excite new fans. The EP includes his most recent single ‘Stuck’ which is very relatable to the unforeseeable times we face which has received over 6,000 streams.
Sam has used Tik Tok and his social media accounts as a way to branch out to new fans and achieve a deeper connection with his fans on a more personal level. He has received over 44k followers on Tik Tok and over 4k on Instagram as well as making regular posts and livestreams to stay active to his fans.
